Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. when you take the temperature in the armpit of the child and if it is 100 or more then only you have to consider it as fever and give paracetamol otherwise if it is less than hundred then kindly do only body sponge

If your baby is temperature is 99° then in such case you should definitely give Calpol drops to your baby. And you can repeat the medicine in every eight hours if baby doesn’t get relief. But always check the temperature before giving medicine. If your baby doesn’t get to leave in next two days then consult with your doctor
