Q.

My 6 week old feeds for 1 hour when direct breastfeeding ( active for 5-8 mins on one breast and rest passive sucking) She will play for 30-45 mins and be hungry again. What can I do to make feeding effective? I tried expressing for 20 mins on each breast and total milk was 90 ml

A. In the age that your child is in approximately 60 ML one time is going to be good enough maybe your child is not getting sufficient feeding during that time and the child is directly breastfeeding so if you have an option of giving expressed milk to the child I think that is going to work out better for you
