Q.

my 6 months baby is not putting weight on giving mother's milk. She is of 5.3kgs. Is this a normal weight or she has to gain more. If so can you please suggest me to increase her weight?

A. dear Mum what was the birth weight baby should be double the birth weight by 6 months or less baby should be triple the birth weight by 1 year at one time feed from only one breast so that baby receives fat rich hindmilk which will help in weight gain exclusively breastfeed till 6 months complete

A. hello baby gaining a minimum of 600 grams to 800 grams per month with means the baby is getting sufficient breast milk and if the breast milk is not sufficient you can give infant formula milk stage 1 using a BPA free bottle like babyhug which can help in the growth of the child
