Q.

My 5months baby is having severe cold and blockage of nose.. Not able to sleep.. using saline drops frequently but no improvement.. please help

A. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest. As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cougrr h and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .

A. Give Steam to the child but indirectly that’s going to be important and if you were nebulising machine the news water and nebulise your child that is also way to help a lot if apart from medicines these are the best home remedies that you can do for
