Q.

My 5 month old baby having cold and cough since 3 days. We have been using medicine suggested by our pediatrician but her cough has not reduced yet. How many will it usually take for cold and cough to subside and suggest me some home remedies??

A. Hello, your baby girl is 5 months old and she is having a cold irrespective of giving her medicine but still it’s not responding properly so she may need proper antibiotic and syrup maxtra as a antihistamine

A. continue advice medicine, stick to the good home remedies like steaming, applying and massaging heated mustard oil to your baby's chest and back, increased breastfeeding, plenty of rest and use of nasal saline drops will help.
