my 4 years and 9month old male child having dry cough only with a gap. of 2 hours once or 3 hours once for past 2 days is it normal. no cold

Yes this is normal.
Apply coconut coconut oil infused with tulsi leaves on the chest and feet of the baby to get relief from dry cough.
Mix one tsp each of turmeric and cinnamon powder in a glass of warm water. Give this water 2-3 times in a day to get relief from dry cough
