Q.

My 4 month old baby is passing the watery stool it contains 90% only water in stool and also whenever she is passing gas, some watery poop passed.She is a mix feed baby. please advice.

A. one more thing... I m also giving her zinconia syrup as prescribed by Dr for 14 days as few days back she has passed loose stool but now she is passed extra watery stool.

A. Loose motion most of the time is because of some infection which could be viral or bacterial and in such case it is associated with symptoms like fever along with vomiting and loss of appetite . supportive treatment is very necessary where proper hydration should be maintained by giving ORS along with that probiotic cahden be given like enterogermina or econorm in a proper dose . Antibiotics has their role only if it is bacterial infection . for this doctor guidance is necessary .
