Q.

My 4 month old baby has started vigorously chewing her fingers. So I have started giving her teethers which also she chews on . Isn’t it a bit early for teething?? What all can I do to ease her discomfort.

A. hi dear While teething can begin as early as 3 months, most likely you'll see the first tooth start pushing through your baby's gum line when your little one is between 4 and 7 months old. The first teeth to appear usually are the two bottom front teeth, also known as the central incisors.

Q. My baby is 5 months old and he constantly puts his fingers in the mouth and keeps chewing them. So much so that he tries to pull my hand and puts my fingers also in his mouth and starts chewing vigorously. Is he about to start teething? If so then how to soothe him?
