My 3 year old son has fever since 6 days along with cold and cough. We are giving medication as prescribed by doctor and even did a blood report which doesn't indicate any bacterial infection as per doctor. Still started antibiotics. please suggest

A. You eat some viral infection or allergy which is why your doctor may have advised antibiotics because maybe this congestion in the chest I cannot confirm on that but if you talk for a while I suggest you continue with the treatment suggested by them
