Q.
my 3 weeks old son is having white discharge from eyes along with tears since yesterday. is it conjunctivitis? what's the solution.

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 1 Year agoA. Frequently eye discharge may be due to allergy, infection or trauma by nail of baby or blocked nasolacrimal duct.
If it is due to blocked nasolacrimal duct since birth we have to reopen that duct with massage
Massage from inner side of eyes to the tip of nose.
It will help
Nasolacrimal duct can also be blocked due to nasal congestion
Visit ur nearest pediatrician once for detail examination of ur baby.

NikithaMom of a 10 yr 9 m old boy1 Year agoA. hello baby being very small this would require a proper medical attention and it is better to check with your doctor and she will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly which would be better and safe
