My 2and half month old baby sucking her hands frequently can I know the reason

Uma RamMom of a 7 yr old boy7 months agoA. Hai good evening !! Thumb sucking is commonly seen in few infants due to habit of breast feed or bottle feed ,the sucking habit makes them keeping fingers in mouth .
The reason might be teething aroung 4-8 months due to teething hard gums they keep fingers,toys into mouth.
Pulling hands gently whenever baby keeps hands into mouth, giving toys like rattles after cleaning ,clapping,playing hide and seek will help in avoiding thumb sucking.
