My 2 yr old girl awakes in the night with loud cry without opening her eyes. It lasts for 10-20 mins. She does not stop even after how much I console her. This happens at least 3-4 times a month. Is it normal? Is it a part of development? How to handle it?

A. can be bad dream or anxiety. if there is no relief it is better you see your doctor for proper examination particularly physical examination if there is need for doing investigations to find out the problem and treatment ok
