my 2 year old baby boy has 20-22 words of speech but understands everything whatever we say.. infact he identified every picture/ images very easily whatever we asked..Also he speaks in his own child language whatever words he don't know..but express it very clearly is this speech delay.

A. If a child is in speaking much you have to talk to your child more and more 1 to one communication spending more quality time will help in enhancing the speech over the period and it is not a deal if you feel the child is not picking up more over the period then you can consult the therapist
