Q.

my 2 year 3 months old daughter don't want to chew the food such as roti sabji , parantha uttapam etc. she just spit it out if I give her.so I have to grind chapati and then mix veggie into it and then she swallows.don't even chew a little. I have tried many times to give a small bite of chapati with sabji without grinding. if she is very very hungry then she will chew 3 4 bites max. then again spit it out. although she can eat biscuits ,makhana ,frams etc please help me how to make her chew chapati ?? it's a great concern as her play group will start soon what I will give her in tiffin if she will not eat chapati or parantha etc

A. hi mam , whenever you give grinded food , gradually increase its consistency ,it will help to make your child habituated to chew food well. to encourage your child for taking chapati well , I advise to give Chapati in small shapes like star heart etc using shape cutter it will make your work easy.
