Q.

my 2 nd babyboy is also born premature at 31 st week and weight 1.85kg. i didnt started to breast feed yet . how long should my baby stay in NICU

A. hi mam..even my daughter was born in 31 weeks and her weight was 1.5 kg ..she was in NICU was 21 days...from 3 day we started to give her expressed breast milk... untill baby reaches 2.5 kg doctor asked us to pump and feed her..

A. Hello ma’am Well that your doctor only can suggest you as to for how long your child has to stay in an NICU. It completely depends on your child’s condition and everything once your child is completely fine to be discharged I want to discharge on child and initially if your child is not able to latch onto it properly then it would be better that you start giving formula feed to your child for the time being
