my 2 months old niece has white patches on her neck. we visited to doctor and he told us that it is an allergy and gave medicine for this. kindly guide us which type of white patches are these??

White spots on the body and face could be some fungal infection or some conditions like pityriasis Ayulba which is aggravated by dryness of the skin it needs proper clinical evaluation by the doctor. Properu mousturisation of skin is very important and maintain a good hygiene .

Without a checkup we cannot tell you what is the reason or what kind of white patches are there but the most common reasons are which are associated or dryness deficiency of calcium or some skin related problem so maybe it’s an analogy as a doctor mention so they will help you with medications kindly follow the advice
