Q.
My 2 month old baby has this kind of flaky skin on his head. Is this vernix? How do i remove it? Regular head wash is not helping it much. Can i scratch it?

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist3 years agoA. it is looking like cradle cap or it could also be a fungal infection without actually examining in person we cannot comment anything so better consult a dermatologist for proper treatment

Ankita MehtaMom of a 9 yr 4 m old girl3 years agoA. hi sorry but I am not getting the attached pic. but from your description ,I would advise to avoid giving head bath frequently. instead of it give it twice in a week but use gentle ,mild shampoo like Babyhug shampoo for washing your child hair. apply coconut oil daily on your child hair it contains Vitamin E which help to keep the skin hydrated.
