Q.

My 2 month baby has umbilical and inguinal hernia. I want to ask is there only solution which is surgery or is it recover itself with the growth. If surgery is only option then at what age we can go for it?

A. We consulted with pediatrician he said it will recover automatically after some time. He told us to wait till 6 months. We also consulted with general surgeon he suggested a paediatric surgeon to consult with and also told that baby has 2 hernia so we have to do surgery early. We have not consulted with paediatric surgeon yet. We have his appointment on Saturday.

A. In this here it is very difficult to comment properly until a proper examination or assessment is done huto find out the exact cause so it is advisable to consult iyour doctor so that he could examine and evaluate properly and will guide you accordingly for this .
