My 2.5 year toddler is suffering from severe constipation and we are giving her duphalac and occasionally we use to see little bleeding we talked to our paediatrician he said to give duphalac but today I saw dark brown stool is it normal she is doing fine

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl2 years agoA. The colour of this tool is completely normal but you cannot keep giving a laxative four and very long time. It has its own set of side-effects. Try to go ahead with natural remedies where you can start giving prune juice to the child every night before the child goes to sleep, I’m sure you’ll get much better results. Vedant.
