Q.

my 1yr 5 m son is crying continuously since 2 days.. he had fever & cold so dr gave him cifixime & maxtra.. his fever is now down, but could not sleep throughout night. Always wants to sleep on shoulder, starts crying the moment we put him to bed.

A. Crying of a Baby is mostly because of infantile colic and gas related discomfort which is there commonly in night . It can be relieved by medicine like colicaid or gastica drops containing dil oil and fengsiel oil with semethicone. other reasons could be hunger any illness, nasal blockage, ear pain, diaper rash and sometimes more conditions which needs to be ruled out and managed accordingly .
