Q.
My 1month 10 days old baby is drinking breast milk only for 7 to 10 mins per every 2 hours is it normal or I have to force her to drink for more minutes?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. very important to see that position and attachment while breastfeeding the child is proper.
if improper the child will continue to suck for long hrs without getting any milk
meet lactational counsellor who will guide regarding this.
see videos on you tube for breastfeedingd position and attachment.
take plenty of water, home made diet, seasonal fruits and vegetables, milk for increasing breast milk for yourself.
take 15 tod 30 days weight and growth assessment by the doctor.

Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 11 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. Hello dear parent! As long as baby is healthy and active, gradually gaining weight, passing adequate urine 6 to 8 times daily then your baby is doing well. Consult your doctor for further evaluation and advise, good luck and take care
