Q.

my 19-month-old baby is experiencing hyperactive bladder and hyperactive sphincter muscle due to spina bifida occult and neurogenic bladder since birth. Following the tethered cord surgery, these symptoms are not improved . The doctors have recommended clean intermittent catheterization (CIC) as the only treatment option, and your baby's bladder currently has 70 percent capacity. i am very much worried about her life

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and it is better to evaluate once with your treating doctor or any other local specialist in person as it is very difficult to say anything about it without personally examination and reports evaluation. Take care
