Q.
My 15days old newborn have cold and cough.. can i gave her sponge bath ? Doctor prescribed mucolite syrup drop and clavam antibiotic drop.. is this anything serious.. am very worried…

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. if your baby is having cough and cold and if the doctor has given these medicines continue with all these medicines and yes you can give sponge bath to the baby in a proper way

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr 1 m old girl3 years agoA. Better to avoid. Keep baby hydrated. Feed every few hours that is the best way to cure soon. Also add tulsi leaves to warm coconut oil and apply to baby's chest sole and back. Keep baby warm. Home remedies are good but it would take a longer time to recover. Babies cant bear for a long time. It's better to check with doctor once and you can treat with medicines and home remedies parallel.
