Q.

My 10 months baby have 100F fever from 3days. Doctor gave pacimol fever syrup, when taken fever goes. But when I stoped it giving, temperature increases slightly. Is it normal to have slight rise in body temperature for more than 3 days. please suggest any home remedy.

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if fever fis repeating. and you can also do cold sponging of the body if required

A. then you can start doing Cold sponging on the entire body the most important part is that you should do it on his forehead and behind the knees of the child that I think the fever is going to come down really fast as compared to
