Q.

my 1 year and 2 months old baby pasising stool with white thick mucus.... but no diarrhoea...not other symptoms..... he is active and normal.... is there any problem???

A. the child is suffering from acute gastroenteritis (either viral or bacterial) examination is needed by the doctor for need of antibiotics. can give probiotics like econorm / sporolac / enterogermina one to two times as perv dr's recommendations. give easily digestible food. ors to be given if loose motion is in more quantity to prevent dehydration and ensure adequate glucose level in the bodyv.
