my 1 year 2months old baby have a flat head pls suggest what will do

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. due to pressure on one side of the head during sleeping there is flatness on that sideee of the head.
no treatment is required for flat head and you will see that by one year to two years of age the flat head will go away as soon as the child begins to sit and later walk.
pillows will not help much in this case so do not worry.
the bones in the skull are elastic so to give space to the growing brain it takes different shape and when the growth of the brain occurs properly then gradually they will take a normal shape

Does flat head syndrome correct itself? Flat head syndrome can and does improve by itself; provided the deformity is only mild, it's noticed early enough and rigorous repositioning is undertaken to prevent the baby from spending too long lying with their head in the same position.
