my 1& half year baby having running nose &chest infection  for past 3weeks  given medicine under doctor supervision but not yet reduced plz suggest some home remedies

kindly continue the medicine given by your doctor and take a follow up after 3 days of starting medicinex.
follow up is also required because the doctor will tell you whether you have to continue the same medicines or there will be changedf in the medicines .
it is in diagnosis of allergic cough cold .
here the child will have regular cough and cold which is usually not associated with fever .
it increases and decreases but does not get cured completely.
dr will give anti allergic medicine usually motelukast / levocetirizine. if its still not improving the next line of treatment will be inhaler therapy with mdi / nebulizer.
allergy can be environmental (temperature variation -hot to cold weather/ cold waterd intake / dust / smoke / pollens) , food , chocolate / packet preservatives food and sweet food also.
body cannot sustain such allergic changes leading to cough cold usually at evening /night and morning.
