Q.
My 1.6 yr old child has not started speaking. He uses words that aren’t clear however I worry if that’s normal or should he have started speaking much before?

Aditi SinhaMom of a 9 yr 8 m old boy3 years agoA. Hi, please keep trying, give small commands to follow, teach one word by flashcards, use simple language (preferably one language to be used in home). also give ample story time to child. it encourage imagination and vocabulary.
reduce screen time, if baby ask something by sign language discourage and tell them to name it or ask for it and then only give. thanks
