Give him more fluids like khichadi, mong dal etc n keep ur baby hydrating for long. u can also give ORS as per doctor's guidance.

Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated wbgith foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatmenct

Are you still giving milk to the child because milk and increase the number of loose motions over the period and even if it reduces down it does not subside completely so make sure that you keeping your child lactose free for the time being along with that if the problem is still persisting I would also recommend you to go ahead with a stool test for your child
