Q.

mom of 5 months old boy. my son weighed 3.18 at birth. now he is 5kg. is the weight ok?? or should is start on solids to gain weight??.

A. Dear mum, though your baby’s weight is fine, but overall weight gain has been slow considering a birth weight of 3.18 kg. Solids should be introduced only after 6 months. Until then you should exclusively breastfeed.
