Low appetite can be due to reasons like low zinc levels or too much dairy products or less gap between meals etc. Include ajwain , ginger, lemon or carrot juice, coconut water, curd with mint in the kid's meals to boost the appetite. South Indian rasam will also increase the appetite. Use different colored plates in different shapes and different types of spoons in different colours to get ur child's attention.
Sit with ur kid, serve the same food for both of u (less spicy for ur kid) and eat along. Avoid distraction like TV. Regular family meals will encourage the kid to eat instead of force feeding her.
Try giving the same food which ur child didn't like before after few months gap, he or she might like it now. Also try to give it in a new form as a different recipe. Look for recipes where you can make sure the kid doesn't recognise the ingredients. This will help u to feed healthy foods which he usually avoids.
