ShejiaMom of a 4 yr 1 m old boy3 years agoA. Hi ,the new research shows that the breastmilk supply will only be affected if you are fasting for more than 24 hours. Make sure that you drink at least 3 L of water when you are not fasting.

If You are going to breastfeed the child continuously then I would not advise you to fast because if you’re not going to eat for really long duration then your body will have nothing to feed to the child as well it’s very important for you that when you are feeding the child you have to quit the fast for a while
