U Just have to exclusively breastfeed the child for initial six months we continue with that if you think that your child is becoming week not gaining weight then you can consult your doctor there and ask if you can start with formula feeding because certain times breastfeeding is not that heavy and thick for a child and that this formula feeding is much more helpful
