Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Hair loss in babies is very common and because of many reasons.
Because of the withdrawal maternal hormone initial hairfall is there.
After birth all the hair of the baby remain in the resting phase and usually by 8 to 12 weeks of age shedding of hairs is there .
Hairs will growg back mostly by 3-7 months but a proper quality. hair will be there by around 2 years of age.
Cradle cap is also a cause for frequent shedding of hairs. along with traction alopecia because of continuous pressure on head in lying position

Please don't over yse any shampoo
please don't wash your hair too frequently
use ayurvedic ingredients to wash your hair like curd and avla powder
take sunbathing daily with head and ears covered in the morning
