typhoid vaccine can be given anytime after completion of 6 months of age of the child. as per the new guidelines you have to give only one dosage for typhoid conjugate vaccine.
the other typhoid vaccine is known as typhoid polysaccharide vaccine and it is given after 2 years of age and is repeated every 3 yearly. in the present scenario it is advisable to go for only typhoid conjugate vaccine.

Maybe the fever is extremely high and the situation is not in control as that is why why your doctor must have given injections and that’s completely normal because if the fever is higher and not coming in control and giving injection is a very good thing and it really helps a lot in reducing the temperature
