in first six months the minimum weight gain should be 500 mg per month and it can go up to 1 kg per month also.
the urine output should be morre than 6 to 7 times per day. the child should sleep after taking breastfeeding.
meet the doctor for weight assessment.
if the above criteria is achieved then the child is having adequate breastfeeding

Yes I do have heard it that it helps in weight gaining or something but I would just like to tell you over here that you should just not be giving anything to the child without consulting the doctor because it is not considered normal in any of the cases so it’s please just consult your doctor if they advise you to go ahead with it then only you should
