mere baby boy ne aaj 1&1/2 month ki vaccine li hai bhot ro raha hai dono pair or 1 hat me swelling aagai hai, plz give me any suggestion.

A. Post vaccination swelling may be a common thing specially after DPT vaccine which may be painful for two or three days and the swelling may remain even up to month so if it is not causing any pain or other symptoms nothing to worrrfuy. Swelling can be reduced by giving ice fomentation locally and paracetamol can be given for fever or pain. Thrombophobe ointment can be applied in acute pain and swelling .

A. You should keep ice cube onto the area where the vaccination has been given along with that you can give paracetamol maybe your child is crying due to too much of pain sometimes fever also pain can be there but you can give paracetamol and you can repeat it again after six hours
