ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist4 years agoA. Dear mum, if birth weight was 2.5 kg, then weight after 5 months should be around 5 kg. Baby should gain at least 500 grams per month and should double the birth weight by 6 months or earlier.

NikithaMom of a 11 yr old boy4 years agoA. hello you can expect baby weight be around 5 kgs and if the baby is gaining a minimum of six hundred grams to 800 grams per month then it is a good weight gain and it means the baby is getting sufficient breast milk and the growth of your child is good
