This is normal. Babies are excited when we first introduce them to solid food. But slowly they will get used to it and become more playful. Try to change the routine food and introduce something new following the two day gap rule. Also try giving finger foods which ur baby can feed on their own if your baby can sit without support. You have to forget about the mess. but make sure they don't cause any choking hazard. Don't let it loose otherwise ur baby may become a fussy eater. Also don't force too much then ur baby would start hating food. Take it slowly and introduce ur baby to variety of foods. This is when u should start inculcating good eating habits. Also follow a feeding schedule and stick to it. When to feed Breastmilk and when to feed solids.
