A. Citrus fruits, carrots, green leafy vegetables, beans, strawberry, yogurt, garlic, and ginger help build immunity with their immunity boosting properties. Make sure that your child sleeps for a minimum of 8-9 hours in a day. Make sure that the child is involved in exercise or physical activity for atleast 40-45 mins in a day. Make sure your child eats lots of fresh fruits. Let the child feed himself with a bowl and a spoon. Let him make a mess and let him play with the spoon and the food. This is how the child will learn to eat all by himself. Offer new foods that you want to introduce along with his favourites. Make family meal a pleasant experience and let the child learn by seeing you enjoy the meals you have cooked. Offer small portions of the meal. Reward the child with stars and smileys even if he is able to finish only a small part of the meal. Never force the child to eat.
