Actually the problem is the people do not have any knowledge about autism if your child is not doing anything people will say oh your child may be autistic they do not know what is autistic but they just have to blabber it out and the parents get scared and they do not have any knowledge if your child is responding well understanding everything making an eye contact reaching all the milestones and there is no problem basically you say the child may be having a delay in the mental growth or autism when the child does not respond to its name knowing that it is my name or your child is just busy in its own world just responding to television screen or music and not understanding anything there is no concept of understanding or listening only with these kids so then you can say that there may be a problem but your child seems perfectly alright
