For a newborn child you can expect the child to sleep for 12 to 16 hours also in a day but not at a stretch of course 2 to 3 hours maybe 4 to 6 hours and then they wake up take a feed go to sleep they’re not very active in the initial time they sleep a lot and this time is perfect enough
