ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. no, it's not good for this age.. Give vegetables (eg pumpkin, potato, sweet potato, carrot puree) fruits (eg cooked pears/apple, ripe banana) .
Moong Daal water, rice kangi.
Ragi porridge, rice porridge.

completion of 6 months age is right time to introduce semisolid food to a child
but it is better to offer food like mung dal Pani,rice starch at first as it is easy to digest food.
then you can start to offer different vegetables, fruits and rice .
and gradually you can start to offer pulses , legumes ,beans etc to your child
