mam meri doctor 9month ki h usse inn dino bar bar cold aur cough ho jata h plz btaye kya kru ya kre care kre kse kpde phnaye because jaldi hi usse psine aa jate h aur jaldi hi thand lg jati h

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper euivaluation by the doctor is done and according to the type of cough its prescribed.
if any rfever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .
