Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. if the red spot in the eyes comes again and again and is not improving on its on in next two orr three days and the child is also having complaints then it is advisable to maintain hygiene of the eyes and meet your doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment because it can be either due to allergy or infection

Redness in the eye area of a newborn can be caused by a blocked tear duct, irritation, or infection. Newborn conjunctivitis can be serious, so talk with your pediatrician right away.
