Q.

M is 3 month old and his weight is lower than WHO standard. Is this fine what can be done to increase his weight.

A. Hello mom monthly weight gain is expected to gain in the range of 300 gm to1 kg for a full term baby and it doubles up by the age fo 4 to 6 months

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and baby weight should be doubled the birth weight in first six months and it is totally depends upon the birth and also breastfeeding exclusively for the first six months as it is total food for baby. Take care
