last night my baby vomited 4/5 times. in the morning she got fever 100.5, after giving calpol fever reduce. but in afternoon again fever got 99.5 and I gave calpol 250mg 3ml but instead of reduce fever got high to 101.2 now I sponge her. what is the reason of this situation. pls help. should I admit my baby or consult pediatrian

The first medicine will always be paracetamol and it is given according to weight and power of paracetamol medicine you are having.
Give liquids and easily digestible food and paracetamol should be given only after food.
Keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever
Armpit temperature of hundred or more is considered as fever
To body sponge to to decrease the surface temperature and should be carried out for at least 20 minutes with normal temperature water.
Higher medicines whether required d or not will be told by the doctor.
