Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cough and Cold should be treated only after a proper examination by a doctor as there may be some associated factor .
As the first line o ff treatment you can give steam inhalation which would be helpful .
Cough Syp should be given only after a proper evaltuation .

,if you are asking for your 5 months old baby,it is better to consult your pediatrician for this.
at home,
apply paste of Turmeric powder and warm water on your child forehead ,chest and back
you can add pinch of ajwain seeds in it .
make sure your child take enough feeding.
