Loose motion are most of the time infective where it feis associated with fever and vomiting and its known as ghastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 7 m old boy3 years agoA. An occasional loose poop is not usually a problem. However, if you see two or more watery bowel movements, your baby may have diarrhea. Call your baby's doctor right away.
