DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Hello, your question is related to your breast milk and if your baby is taking breast feeding and breast milk is not enough for him then NO any medicine but enough nutritious food items and plenty of water is needed
Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. for low breast milk supply you need to take plenty of liquids and high fibre diet and give frequent feeding to your child so that milk production increases as it is a hormonal phenomena regulated by signals to the brain so you should feel positively motivated and do not try to give formula milk unless advised by your paediatrician and if the weight gain and urinary output of your baby is normal .if required you can also takekli help from a lactation consultant who will guide you in a very proper way regarding establishment of good lactation as well as will help you in relieving pain if you have any. medicines are not of much help in this but definitely your diet is very important.

Fenugreek You can buy from medical and also if you need to you can have them for a month or two if they help in increasing your lactation then your child can definitely get breastfeeding otherwise you’ll have to give formula feed to the child some way or the other
